Welcome! I am a doctoral student in Political Science at the University of Florida, specializing in International Relations and Political Methodology. My research lies at the intersection of international relations, political psychology, and computational social science.

My research is organized around two strands. One strand examines how experiences of marginalization and discrimination foster—or constrain—solidarity across social groups and influence attitudes toward immigration and foreign policy. The second investigates how China’s rise and U.S.–China competition reshape state behavior, international institutions, and relations with the Global South.

I use quantitative and computational methods, including survey experiments, Bayesian modeling, machine learning, text analysis, and emerging AI-based approaches.

I received my M.A. in International Relations from Seoul National University and my B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Chonnam National University. I am originally from Busan, South Korea.
